Planning a wedding on a budget is horrible.  There is a list a million miles long of things to make yourself, plus a list of to-do's, plus a list of haven't thought of's, add to it the opinion and schedules of others and it makes one wonder, why?  I wish I had answers to all these questions, schedules that matched, and some of those elves that sneak into cobblers homes at night to do all the work.  Maybe, we had it right when we just went to the court house and said I do, because this planning business is a pain!

I need some kid friendly wedding tips!

It is no secret, the hubby and I have 2 kids of our own.  Chances are our family and friends will be bringing their kids with them so how do I have my elegant wedding and make it kid friendly?  I need idea's that I can either make myself or that are cheap so I don't blow my budget!  Any idea's you have are welcome please comment below!

How do I make this?

I found something I really like for the decor of both weddings and am trying to figure our how to make this out of faux plant products so I can use it in both the East Coast and West Coast weddings!  I need you crafty peoples help with this one!  Who knows or has any thoughts on the products to use and methods to recreate the letters in this photograph?  I appreciate all the help! Ring Bearer Suit

So, I will be needing 2 ring bearer looks as my son is growing constantly.  I would love it if anyone has any idea's on where to get outfits cheap for these little guys as most rental places make you buy them for his size.  I'm looking for a classic look that I can use for both weddings, but would love any idea's you have for a Ring Bearer Look.

Flower Girl Dilemma

So, planning 2 weddings holds a ton of issues.  I have to get a dress that I not only fit into once, but twice, at least a year apart.  Add to it that everyone needs to fit into their stuff twice and you have a monster issue on your hands.  Especially, when your 2 year old flower girl daughter is growing like a weed.  Not only that but right now she insists on wearing heels, so do I get a slight heeled shoe now and then get another one later in a different style or get two of the same in different sizes?  How about this, can a flower girl dress be let out or will I need two of those?  If anyone has any solutions or tips definitely let me know and I feel like I run into more issues than solutions with every turn of planning a wedding.

I need Guest Gift Idea's

I'm looking for some interesting, cool, and either reasonable priced or something I can make myself.  I want an intimate touch to this wedding.  So, what did you do for your wedding?  Some idea's I've had is photo frames as name holders, candy bags, and music CD's of our wedding songs.  What do you think of those idea's and what idea's do you have for me?  I really need help from this one!

Color Scheme's the First Bite!

OK, so I needed a place to start and decided to start with colors.  I'm taking my first bite of wedding planning pie by looking at colors.  So, for the West Coast I wanted Blue, Green, and Purple.  But finding the right hue's was annoying hey were either too pastel or just too, umm, bright?  So I found these and minus the pinkish color they are the closest.  What do you guys think for the West Coast Wedding?

2 Weddings in about 2 Years

So, I got the go ahead from the hubby and then we figured out what we can afford.  I have 2 weddings to plan. One on the West Coast with hopes to be located in the Greater Seattle/Tacoma area hopefully in March/April of next year and the other on the East Coast in May or June a year after the first one.  I have a lot on my plate, a venue, dress, and everything else to find/make/or barter for and only $3000 to spend on the Seattle Wedding!  As many of you know, from my main blog Mommy Moments with Abby, I run a daycare, plus the blog, plus am raising 2 kids and 3 dogs leaving little time for travel which adds to my dilemma planning a wedding in two states while living in a third!  Yikes, is this really worth it?  Am I crazy?  I'm hoping that you my readers can help me with suggestions, donations, sponsors, or anything else a busy mom trying to create a wedding could need.  So, my first question?  Where do I start?  All I know is the budget stated above and the basic area it will be with also stated above.  Help!  Comment below with where to start and how to do it all fast!  Thanks so much to everyone who follows this crazy adventure and helps out along the way!
