How do I make this?
I found something I really like for the decor of both weddings and am trying to figure our how to make this out of faux plant products so I can use it in both the East Coast and West Coast weddings! I need you crafty peoples help with this one! Who knows or has any thoughts on the products to use and methods to recreate the letters in this photograph? I appreciate all the help! Thanks so much for following and offering assistance in my wedding journey!

I've seen something similar, where they cut the letters out of plywood and then took like a noodle (like the ones for pools) sprayed it with whatever color the wedding party is using or foam shaved and shape to the letter and then glue or stick the greenery in the foam. i've also seen them use the moss stuff from what model makers use for train sets and village. hope that helps. would love to see it when you get it made. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Thanks so much for the help! Looks like I'll be making a few trips to Micheal's in my future!
ReplyDeleteYou could use the foam squares, and cut the letters out of that, then either real moss or feaux moss, and spray glue it on. IF you go to JoAnns.com, they have foam letters on the cheap, and use a joanns coupon and you have made out well.
